A booking number and a court cause number are different records. The booking number belongs to the jail. The cause number belongs to the court file and is searched through the Indiana court system. Booking charges also may change after review by the prosecutor, so the roster should not be treated as the final criminal history.

A local hold or detainer is not the same as confirmed federal or ICE custody. If INjail shows a hold, read it as a reason to verify the custody chain. The person may still be physically held at the Steuben County Jail, or may later move to another agency after court or transfer action.
